Meet Sonia Mendoza, Owner & Director
My name is Ms. Sonia Mendoza, I take much pride in presenting Wicker Park Kid’Z Learning Center to my community. I am the proud daughter of Salvador and Julia Mendoza, born and raised on Thomas St. This is my neighborhood, my home, where my parents built their dream and now where I have built mine. I have 40 years of experience invested into the Day Care industry, it is my passion. There is a sense of dedication one must have to succeed in order to provide quality care for all children and this I have always been able to provide. Why? Well many reasons. Many people need care in different forms of ways you as a caregiver must be willing to find a solution for each family that comes into your circle of life.

Meet Amanda Peñe, Head Director
My name is Amanda, born and raised in Chicago, earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and currently working towards my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am a mother of three beautiful children: Aiden, Abigail, and Amanda. I have been extremely fortunate to have built a strong foundation learning hands on through my mother. I have worked with children and families for over 22 years and I have much pride working with our family owned learning center. I am committed to providing all of our families a productive educational curriculum, a loving foundation, ensuring that each child will be filled with wonderful memories to last a lifetime.
